The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency operates prevention and early detection programs, conducts innovative research and provides safe, patient and family-centred care at two cancer centres.
eduCatie+ offers customized courses for organizations to build their HIV and hepatitis C knowledge of staff, volunteers and community members. These blended learning courses combine online education with live instructor training, supported by knowledgeable CATIE educators. Courses focus on locally relevant issues related to HIV Basics, Preventing the Sexual Transmission of HIV & Hepatitis Basics.
Saskatoon Sexual Assault & Information Centre provides workshops for both students and professionals.
“I’m the Boss of Me” is Grade 4 Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Program provided for grade 4 students in collaboration with Saskatoon School Divisions. SSAIC is not able to provide school presentations outside grade 4 at this time.
First Responder for Sexual Assault Training is designed to prepare health care professionals who are likely to be the first person a survivor shares their story with.
